The Aon G.A.T.E (Global Assessment and Talent Engine) evaluates candidates with aptitude, behavioral and ability tests to assess if they would success in a specific position.
In 2017, Aon Hewitt purchased cut-e. Since then, the Aon/cut-e test names are interchangeable.
G.A.T.E. is Aon’s online platform through which you take some of the Aon assessments.

Numerical Reasoning (Scales Numerical)
Measures your ability to understand, analyze and interpret information presented in tables and graphs. You will need to determine if a statement is true, false, or undeterminable by looking for the information in the correct tab. This section has 37 questions and 12 minutes - you have 20 seconds for each question.
- Note: If you submit an answer while the wrong tab is open, you will lose points even if your answer is correct.
Numerical Reasoning (Scales eql)
Measures your ability to construct mathematical equations that result in a given value. You will need to add the correct values to complete the equation so that it is correct.
This part contains 15 Questions and 5 minutes - you have 20 seconds for each question.
- Note: This test is not taken online - you will be asked to print it.
Verbal Reasoning (Scales Verbal)
Measures your ability to understand texts and to analyze and interpret the information therein. You must determine if a statement is true, false, or undeterminable by choosing the correct tab and finding the relevant information. This part has 49 questions and 12 minutes - you have 15 seconds per question.
- Note: If you submit an answer while the wrong tab is open, you will lose points even if your answer is correct.
Inductive Logical Thinking (Scales cls)
Measures your ability to discover rules and relationships between objects and then apply them yourself. You need to find the pattern that divides the two colors of grids, and apply it to several other grids accordingly. You have to answer 12 questions in 12 minutes - you have one minute per question.
In Scales cls, you are shown several grids with characters and/or numbers on them. The grids are divided into Orange and Blue, according to a certain pattern. Your job is to find that pattern and apply it to determine the color of several other grids.
Inductive Logical Thinking (Scales ix)
Measures your ability to recognize discrepancies. You will be shown nine objects and must identify the odd one out.
This part contains 20 questions and 5 minutes - You have15 seconds per question.
Inductive Logical Thinking (Scales clx)
Measures your ability to recognize rules in complex structures. You will see two grids with symbols, linked by a common rule. You need to recognize the common rule and choose two additional grids that follow it.
You will have 6 minutes to answer as many questions as possible.
Learning Efficiency (Scales lst)
Measures your learning aptitude and your ability to memorize the order of a series of objects presented consecutively.
You will need to recall the sequence of displayed objects and arrange them accurately.This section has 6 rounds, 12 objects each – you have 18 seconds to memorize the objects and 30 seconds to place them in the correct order.

Dr. Elizabeth Martin-Hill: Chief Financial Officer. She practiced law in the private sector for four years before completing her education in economics. She later served as senior vice president and treasurer of a big audit firm. She joined Multi-Credit ten years ago, becoming head of finances after working in the legal department for two years.
Tariq Ajay: President of Multi-Credit's European branch and a certified public accountant. He previously worked in the British civil sector for ten years, before transitioning to the private sector as assistant to the CFO in several European companies for a few years. He later worked as Multi-Credit's CFO before advancing to his current role.

1. Tell the manger your concerns about the project and say you won't take the project.
2. Share your concerns with the manager, suggest changes so it will be a better fit.

How to Identify the Aon Hewitt G.A.T.E. Test?
Aon cut-e tests can be taken on several platforms, depending on the type of test and the company for which you are applying.
Most of the tests taken on the G.A.T.E. online platforms are aptitude tests and behavioral assessments, while a lesser probability exists that you will take a logic gamified test.
You can know that you are about to take an Aon Hewitt G.A.T.E. test if the invitation you received mentions “G.A.T.E.”, and not only Aon.

The Aon Hewitt G.A.T.E. Test Scoring
The behavioral tests don't have a right or wrong answer. They are scored in accordance to what the company is looking for. On the other side, the aptitude tests have objective right or wrong answers and are therefore scored on them.
For example, if the position is for a customer service role, the company is going to be looking for someone who is good at communicating with people on the phone.
The test results are compared to other candidates, from which a shortlist is made of those with the results that fit the company and the specific job role best.
Those who score highly will be ranked more positively in the hiring process, while those who fall below the pass rate will lose their place in the hiring process.
How do you take The Aon Hewitt G.A.T.E. Test?
The Aon G.A.T.E. site allows you easy access to your test, which you can take from any device connected to the internet, such as a computer, mobile phone, or tablet, so you can complete the assessment from anywhere in the world. In addition, the G.A.T.E. offers the test in a variety of different languages.
The test begins the moment you sign in to the G.A.T.E. website. After you complete it, your score will immediately be sent to your recruiter.

Almost all cut e assessments can be completed on smartphones and tablets. For the best performance, however, you should take the test on a PC or laptop, or mobile if you are taking a gamified test. Also, make sure you are using the latest browser version to prevent compatibility errors, and that your internet connection is stable.
Some Aon assessment tests allow a calculator- if using one is not allowed, you will be notified. In addition, having a pen and paper on hand is sometimes very useful- some tests have complex questions that require several stages to answer, and writing them down is critical for success.
